Here’s the method I used and recommend:

Step 1: Map Your Value Ladder

List all your possible offers, from basic to “dream” projects. Get honest about what excites you and what drains you. Think: no limits!

Step 2: Define Your Zone of Genius

Identify your highest-value, most transformational service. That’s your “top tier”—where your true impact happens.

Step 3: Set Brand Boundaries

Write out what you will and won’t do. Create minimum engagement levels (e.g., “My minimum project is $1,000”) so you never undervalue your time or expertise. Cross out lower-tier items on your list.

Step 4: Communicate Your Transformation

Practice explaining (to yourself and others) the real transformation you offer, not just the tasks you complete. “I help X achieve Y” is far more powerful than “I design logos.”

Step 5: Rehearse, Affirm & Own It

Write your boundary statements and affirmations. Speak them aloud daily. Train your brain to believe and act on your new identity.

    • What do you do best?
    • What transformation do you provide?
    • What will you say no to from now on?
  • Practice sharing these in conversations—with friends, family, or your community.
  • Write daily affirmations to retrain your beliefs:
    • “I am a transformational expert.”
    • “I attract high-value clients.”
    • “My value is set by the Creator.”
  • Speak your affirmations aloud every morning. Notice how your actions and decisions begin to change.
